The Cedars offers a unique setting on the banks of Marion Lake. With water gardens and fountains, multi-tiered porches, and the outside patio, the scene is set upon arrival.
Designed for all of your entertainment needs both large and small. The interior is furnished with antiques and the walls hung with oil paintings to lend an ambiance to your event. Seasonal decorations inside save you the costs of decorating with the possible exception of fresh flowers for your tables. |

The interior spaces flow easily through archways from room to room to accommodate large numbers of people. Entering through the Tea Room, there is the Parlor, the Boardroom, and the Bar.
A separate area allows for buffet service which has access to each of the other spaces. Doors allow access to the adjacent Patio with seating for 40 around a landscaped fountain and a covered porch area for a bar or food service area. |
For Weddings and Wedding Receptions the use of the entire facility is included for the entire day of the wedding. Plus, The Cedars staff will be on hand to take delivery of your wedding cake, flowers, meet with your caterer, photographer, and your musicians; this is part of our service to you.
This leaves you and members of your wedding party worry free on wedding day. The Facility Fee for weddings also includes a one-hour period the day before for the wedding rehearsal.
There is no additional charge for having a wedding and reception; the charge is the same for just having the reception. |

The wisteria-covered Gazebo is an ideal location for an outdoor wedding with seating for guests on the lawn.

For other larger events, the entire lower level of the facility is available including The Tea Room, Boardroom and Parlor. The interior of the facility will seat up to 92 people for dinner with outdoor seating around the patio fountain for an additional 40 people. The facility will accommodate up to 150 people for a standing reception, though the facility and patio area have held over 200 people.
The Buffet area can either be used for buffet-style food and The Bar for beverages or as location for the band. This is ideal for rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. The porch of the Playhouse on the patio or the Gazebo can be used as a venue for band or DJ. |
Having been involved with parties and weddings for years, The Cedars has made the effort to include all of the things which are necessary to stage your event so you do not have to rent, and return, items after the event or the wedding.
When comparing pricing with other facilities, please note all of the things which are included in the Facility Fee. |
The Facility Fee includes the following:
- Use of Facility Area for the allotted time period
- Standard table and chair set-up
- For Dinners: use of china, glassware, flatware and chafers
- For Receptions: use of silver punch bowl, glass plates and punch cups, other serving pieces
- For Weddings: in addition to Reception Items, silver cake plateaus, candelabra, and a selection of table centerpieces.
- Table Clothes and Table Toppers- if desired)
- Have both white and black linens for all tables
- Selection of table toppers in: gold, bronze, burgundy, taupe, pink, red
- There is an assortment of table decorations available for your use if desired: patriotic, baby shower, Easter, Spring, Autumn, Mardi Gras, Western, Hawaiian Christmas, Wedding Whites

- Busing tables during the event, clean-up and dishwashing
- Though a staffing service, we can arrange properly trained and attired wait staff for your event.

You or your caterer will have the use of The Cedars’ 500 square-foot kitchen, our china, flatware, glassware, and commercial dishwasher. You can provide your own food and do not have to use a caterer.
Any caterer must have an Arkansas food service license and must sign an agreement as to the proper use of any equipment in the kitchen. This should save you money since your caterer does not have to move their tableware and can use our dishwasher for clean-up. |

The Cedars is equipped with audio system with a five CD capacity which will allow you to have audio in the entire facility both inside and outside, or in only specific rooms. The Boardroom and The Tea Room have concealed 32-inch flat screen monitors for PowerPoint or other visual presentations.

A 50% deposit is due when the space is booked; balance is due one (1) week prior to the event. When the entire facility is booked, there is a $250 Damage/Clean-up Deposit which may be refunded after inspection of the facility after the function.
The Cedars reserves the right to refuse to book the facility for any event or function which is believed to cause damage to the facility or be a nuisance or disturbance to the adjoining neighbors. |
